Many, many thanks to all who presented at, attended, tweeted about, and boosted the signal of our first ever CUNY Games Festival! The Conference last Friday and Game Day last Saturday were a great success, and we hope everyone had as much fun as we did.
We’ll be archiving as much as possible from the Festival here in the coming weeks, so check back for updates. Presentations and other materials from the Conference will be linked to on the Program page, and we’ll add links to the Plenary Panel video, tweets, and images on the Archive page.

Plenary Panel Session Livestream
Thanks to the excellent A/V folks at the CUNY Graduate Center we’re able to stream the Penary Panel session live. Once the session begins at 4:30pm on January 17, 2014, you can access the livestream here: http://videostreaming.gc.cuny.edu/videos/livestreams/page1/

Conference Schedule Now Available!
We’ve just posted the CUNY Games Festival program on our website — check it out! There’s a wide range of presentations, shorts, posters, and arcade demos to choose from on our conference day, something for everyone interested in game-based learning in higher education.

Time’s Running Out: Register Now for the Conference!
The Fall semester’s winding down, which means that the CUNY Games Festival registration deadline is nearly upon us. Registration will close on January 1, 2014, so if you’re planning to come to the conference and game day, you’ll need to register very soon!
Please note that we’re unable to accept walk-in registration on the day of the conference.

Extra Time: Registration Deadline Extended
Good news! We’ve extended the deadline for registration for the CUNY Games Festival to January 1, 2014. Head on over to the Registration page to register now (if you haven’t already).
Registration gets you into the all-day conference at the CUNY Graduate Center on Friday, January 17th (including breakfast and lunch), as well as the game day on Saturday, January 18th at Borough of Manhattan Community College.

We’re delighted to announce the location for our Game Day, Saturday January 18th from 10am to 5pm:

On this more informal day we’ll be playing popular board and card games, and offering feedback to educational games that attendees have created. Feel free to bring games of your design; we will have game designers on hand! During this time we will get to know each other better and hopefully discover opportunities for future collaborations.
